  • Compliance with all applicable national laws and regulations, industrial minimum standards, conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and of the UN, the OECD Guidelines and all other relevant legal provisions
  • Equal rights and treatment of all employees with regard to hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement, regardless of sex, age, religion, nationality, race, caste, social background, disability, ethnic or national origin, political orientation, sexual preference or other personal characteristics
  • Free choice of occupation and rejection of all forms of forced labour
  • Rejection of child labour pursuant to the requirements of the regulations of the United Nations or local legislation, whichever is stricter
  • Dignified and respectful esteem for every employee together with the assurance of a work environment that excludes all physical, sexual, moral or verbal threats or other forms of abuse
  • Recognition of the basic rights of employees
  • Assurance that employees are remunerated at least according to the minimum standards stipulated by law or commonly practiced in the industry
  • Assurance of working hours totalling not more than 60 hours per week on average, including overtime, along with at least a 24-hour contiguous break each week
  • Initiation of all required measures to prevent accidents and harm to health
  • Development of a programme to improve work safety, i.e. for the prevention and reduction of accidents and harm to health
  • Rejection of all forms of bribery
  • Statement of fair business conditions
  • Exercise of appropriate competition and compliance with anti-trust legislation
  • Compliance with regulations and laws relative to foreign trade, export and combating terrorism
  • Protection of the confidentiality of in-house and personal data
